This September, Brenda Valentine, the outdoor industry's "First Lady of Hunting," was named the official spokeswoman for the NWTF. Valentine made her official debut as spokeswoman at the national Women in the Outdoors event last September at the Wild Turkey Center in Edgefield, S.C., where more than 300 women had gathered for a weekend of fun, fellowship and learning.

Women In The Outdoors is the official magazine of the NWTF’s female membership dedicated to informing and entertaining women about the outdoors. The 80-page magazine is filled with articles on camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, shooting, bird watching, gardening, health and fitness, and much more.

Women In The Outdoors is the quarterly magazine of the NWTF’s Women in the Outdoors program. The mission of the program is to provide outdoor learning opportunities for women ages 14 and older that are hands-on, exciting and fun.
