EDGEFIELD, S.C. — Just in time for spring turkey season, ALPS OutdoorZ and the National Wild Turkey Federation have teamed up to bring turkey hunters high-tech turkey gear featuring the NWTF logo and the NWTF Mossy Oak Obsession camouflage pattern.
No matter where ALPS turkey hunting products are purchased, hunters will positively impact the NWTF Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative, as a portion of the purchase price will come back to the NWTF, ensuring the future of hunting for years to come.
These products will be available at the 42nd annual NWTF Convention and Sport Show in Nashville at the ALPS OutdoorZ booth, No. 615.
In adding to last year’s widely popular Grand Slam and Super Elite turkey vests, ALPS OutdoorZ is adding two new products to its line of NWTF gear.
Impact Vest – This new vest features a sit-anywhere, lightweight design with removable front pocket for transitioning to run-and-gun hunts. It also has a silent box call pocket, a pocket for two slate calls and three strikers. It has five shotgun shell loops and three diaphragm call pockets. Hunters can choose it in either Bottomland or Obsession.
Deception Blind – This new low profile, lightweight hunting blind features 270 degrees of SLIENT-TRAC window systems with strong and flexible fiberglass poles. It features an extra-large door opening and two interior gear pockets.
“Wildlife conservation, habitat protection, recruiting new hunters and safeguarding our hunting heritage for future generations is an integral part of the foundation of our company,” said Dennis Brune, ALPS OutdoorZ owner.
So, look for the logo, and support brands, like ALPS OutdoorZ, that have made a commitment to support the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative
About the National Wild Turkey Federation
When the National Wild Turkey Federation was founded in 1973, there were about 1.3 million wild turkeys in North America. After decades of work, that number hit an historic high of almost 7 million turkeys. To succeed, the NWTF stood behind science-based conservation and hunters’ rights. The NWTF Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative is a charge that mobilizes science, fundraising and devoted volunteers to raise $1.2 billion to conserve and enhance more than 4 million acres of essential wildlife habitat, recruit at least 1.5 million hunters and open access to 500,000 acres for hunting.
