Chevrolet Camaro Race Notes and Quotes:

EDGEFIELD, S.C. —This weekend, Ty Dillon will pilot the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops/NWTF.org car during the Hisense 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

This Richard Childress Racing (RCR) Chevrolet Camaro is brand new to the RCR stable and will see track action for the first time this Thursday afternoon during the NASCAR XFINITY Series practice.

"There definitely is an increase in activity during this time of year, but I enjoy it," said Dillon about returning to his hometown of Charlotte for the race. "I enjoy racing close to home, sleeping in my own bed, seeing friends and family and participating in all of the activities. It's also a great opportunity to see a lot of our great partners and spend some time with them. We're fortunate to have our friends from Bass Pro Shops and the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) on the car this weekend," said Dillon about returning to Charlotte for the race.

Bass Pro Shops and CEO Johnny Morris continued their amazing support of the NWTF by again donating sponsorship space on the No. 3 RCR Chevy to the conservation organization. The salute to the NWTF is a part of the Bass Pro Shops Racing for America’s Wildlife program. The program engages the NASCAR community in protecting America’s hunting and fishing heritage through habitat conservation and restoration, education and outreach.

Fans of Dillon will have the unique opportunity to meet the driver this week around the Concord, North Carolina area. On Wednesday evening, Dillon, along with older brother Austin and grandfather/team owner, Richard Childress, are scheduled to visit the Bass Pro Shops in Concord to sign autographs beginning at 6 p.m.
