Sherry Smith Crumley
Buchanan, Va.
Sherry Crumley is a Diamond Life member and has
attended every convention since 1985. She is a past chairman
of the Roanoke Valley Chapter, organized its first
Women in the Outdoors event and has served as an advisor
for the Virginia State Chapter for several years. She served
two terms on the NWTF National Board from 1994 to
2000 and has since spoken at several Diamond Life events.
Sherry has been a member of the Virginia Hunters for the Hungry advisory board since 1991. In 2000, she chaired the Virginia Heritage Foundation, which passed a constitutional amendment that guaranteed Virginians the right to hunt and fish. She is a past chairman of the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, as well as an NRA life member who served on the Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Committee at the request of three NRA presidents.
She is retired from Trebark Camouf lage, the company founded by her husband, Jim. The Crumleys have two sons and daughters-in-law and five grandchildren to whom they are passing along their love of hunting and the outdoors.
