Bill Marvin has been a member of the national board of directors since 2006 and serves as chairman of the Constitution and By-laws committee and is a member of the Policy, Hunting Heritage, Awards and Development committees.
He is active in the local chapter he founded 24 years ago and served as Florida State Chapter president for six years. Marvin was instrumental in helping pass more than 20 pieces of Florida legislation related to hunting and hunters’ rights.
Marvin is president of Allied Sportsmen’s Association, Future of Hunting in Florida and the Capital City Rotary Club. He is a “Paul Harris Fellow” and a 2005 winner of the NWTF Roger Latham Service Award.
“My father taught me how to hunt and fish and to respect the land and water. It is my responsibility to pass these things on to others,” Marvin said. “My work with the board of directors is one of the best ways I can do that. I want to share the enjoyment, experiences and friendships the NWTF and the outdoors can provide.”
