About Our Museum

The Winchester Museum is the only museum in the world dedicated to wild turkey restoration, management and hunting.

		Outdoor Education Center The 100-acre Outdoor Education Center includes a series of nature trails, a wetland habitat site and pavilion. The area provides the perfect setting for JAKES youth events, school field trips and other educational opportunities. See our outdoor trail map.

		Spreading the Word This NWTF is taking our message beyond our museum walls. The Virginia Museum of Natural History's staff members, educators and scientists developed a new Living Off the Land exhibit in partnership with the NWTF.
