What would you do with a blank slate? Create a facility that will help save the habitat, save the hunt and set the NWTF apart from any other conservation organization in a unique and inspiring way? One that will help the NWTF unite our industry to tackle the challenges we face today?

The addition of more than 700 acres adjacent to the Wild Turkey Center, NWTF’s headquarters in Edgefield, S.C., will create that opportunity.

The NWTF has the vision to build a facility to provide resources to its volunteers and partners in the hunting and conservation communities. It’s critical as we strive together to protect and strengthen the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation.

Whether it’s NWTF members, volunteers, business partners, youth organizations, government agencies or others in the outdoor industry, the envisioned Palmetto Shooting Complex will be an unequaled tool to support our efforts to save the habitat and save the hunt.

The Palmetto Shooting Complex and outdoor education center will serve a wide range of needs. It will allow for more effective and cost efficient NWTF events, such as board meetings, shooting events, leadership conferences, banquets, hunting heritage events, staff meetings, training sessions, conservation workshops and educational programs. It will be a place to showcase the organization’s Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative.

“My hope is the Palmetto Shooting Complex and outdoor education center becomes the foundation for the work and training necessary to ensure the future of conservation and the preservation of our hunting heritage,” said NWTF CEO George Thornton.

The facility will allow the NWTF to host and influence meetings conducted by wildlife agencies, legislators, outdoor writers, conservation symposia, educators, students and youth organizations. It can also create an opportunity to host corporate retreats, training and team building events.

They, in turn, could create a powerful conduit to share the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative with business leaders who have the resources needed to assist with the NWTF’s goals.

It could create an opportunity to generate revenue to support the organization and the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative.

The NWTF’s vision for the future is a bold one, and the Palmetto Shooting Complex and outdoor education center will be an important tool to the successful implementation of the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative. What would you do if you had a blank slate? Here’s your chance.
