Fall Seed and Seedlings

Fall can be a prime planting time for many shrubs and trees. You should check with your local cooperative extension office to verify planting dates for your area.
Most tree seedlings are able to survive and further develop their root systems when planted in the fall and when adequate moisture is present. The NWTF offers a variety of seedlings for your needs that have the potential to attract and maintain wildlife on your property.
Fall is also an excellent time to plant fall food plots to attract a variety of wildlife. NWTF offers several Strut and Rut mixtures that can be planted for fall and winter use and even into the following year. Two new mixtures are available this year for the first time and should be extremely beneficial to deer and turkey hunters.
