Welcome to the NWTF's Get in the Game Web page. On this page, you will find anything and everything about land management. From how to join the Hunting Heritage Club and get your issue of Get in the Game magazine, to instructions seen on "Get in the Game" television, you'll find everything you need right here.

NWTF Hunting Heritage Club Program

This new membership program focuses on bringing all types of hunters into the fight to maintain the freedom to hunt and manage for wildlife. Each member receives Get in the Game magazine, a "how to" land management, hunting and hunting advocacy publication, as well as the option to get a free management plan for their property developed by their state's forestry agency (in participating states). Members also will be notified about landowner field days that are being conducted in their area. To learn more click here.

Get in the Game Magazine

Get in the Game is the NWTF's newest publication for people with a passion for hunting and land management. Mailed twice a year, the 64-page, full-color magazine will help readers learn how to improve habitat for deer, quail, wild turkeys, small game, and other wildlife. Readers also will learn strategies that work for hunting deer, turkey and more. The magazine also emphasizes the importance of active forest management. Articles range from secrets for setting up your treestand in a whitetail hotspot, suggestions on how to improve your soil, tips to tune up your tractor, building a duck blind and more. Get in the Game CD-ROM

The Get in the Game!: Attracting Wildlife to Your Land CD-ROM is a reference guide and resource planning CD-ROM produced by the NWTF. Get in the Game will help landowners manage land for wild turkeys, deer, quail and a variety of other birds and animals. It features an electronic planting guide, mapping program, landowner journal, a turkey quiz and resource materials. Internet connections are needed for access to additional information.

The Get in the Game Manual is a reference manual full of information pertaining to everything from timber management to planting and managing wildlife openings.
