NWTF Feather Distribution Project

Donate Your Turkey Feathers and You Could Win a Gun.
The NWTF collects turkey feathers and gives them to Native American tribes across the nation for their religious ceremonies. We also collect feathers for JAKES workshops and for feather craft workshops held during the NWTF Convention and other events.

Donate your turkey's feathers and get a unique Feather Distribution Project pin as a free gift (first time donations only). You will also be entered in a gun drawing. The gun raffle drawings will be held in August at our
NWTF Board of Director's meeting.

Please donate your feathers according to these guidelines:

• Make sure the feathers have been plucked, are cleaned of flesh and blood and are in relatively good condition. Please don't send bloody feathers.
• If possible, please separate the longer wing and tail feathers.
• Package feathers in a paper sack so air can reach them and put them in a box. Please don't pack in plastic.
