NWTF State Leaders Meet in Pierre
PIERRE, S.D.--Last January the South Dakota State Chapter hosted its first annual Chapter Leaders Conference. Leaders from South Dakota met to discuss ideas on Super Fund Banquets, the NWTF's outreach programs, Women in the Outdoors, JAKES, Wheelin' Sportsmen and community involvement.
Chapter leaders told success stories to new chapters and everyone in attendance gave positive feedback following the conference. Many chapter leaders are now returning to their local community with new ideas to help benefit the conservation of the wild turkey. -- Craig Broughton.
