NWTF: What do you like most about being a part of the NWTF?
Gary Lister: The camaraderie is definitely a huge bonus. I also like being able to do a lot for the community.
NWTF: What NWTF programs do you feel are the most important?
GL: All of them! But especially the JAKES and Wheelin' programs.
NWTF: Do you have a favorite memory of participating in any of these programs?
GL: I was invited to go on a Wheelin' outing with the Wichita Falls Chapter awhile back. That was really special.
NWTF: How long have you been turkey hunting and what is your favorite part?
GL: I didn't start turkey hunting until eight years ago. My favorite part is the challenge of calling them in.
NWTF: Do you get to hunt often?
GL: I live on a ranch so I am pretty lucky. I get to go a lot.
NWTF: Tell me about your chapter.
GL: We have been a little slow starting up due to the economy but we have had some really great banquets thanks to community partners and businesses that help us out a lot.
NWTF: What do you like most about being a member of the NWTF?
GL: They make me feel welcome, even more so than other organizations I have been a member of in the past. Bob Linder, the State President has always been a great asset and been there to help us whenever we needed him.
