The Caller news magazine is the NWTF's member publication that allows NWTF volunteers to share information about their successful conservation projects, Hunting Heritage Banquets and educational events for people with disabilities, youth, and women. The Caller is now inserted in each issue of Turkey Call.
The JAKES Activity Book is a great tool for youth to learn more about conservation and the wild turkey. The book contains many fun learning activities such as crossword puzzles, board games, word find, coloring and much more. The Wild Turkey: Biology and Management is an award-winning book that details current knowledge about wild turkeys. The NWTF Wildlife Bulletins, which are available on the NWTF's Web site, offer specific details on strategies and methods for wild turkey managers. The Get in the Game Manual is a 54-page management guide full of up-to-date information on everything from timber management to planting and managing wildlife openings for all landowners including corporations, timber growers, small land owners and hunt club members. Turkey Hunting Success & Safety is available as a two-disk CD-ROM and DVD set to anyone who teaches hunter safety. The disks contain videos, lessons, articles, tips and Power Points, providing instructors everything needed to teach hunters how to be safe and successful. The NWTF's two new land-management videos, Managing Openings and Growing Chufa, are 30-minute videos that show the fundamentals of managing wildlife openings. NWTF biologists share the latest techniques to help you attract and keep more wildlife, especially turkeys, on your land. |
