Learn to Burn – Free!

Prescribed fire is an excellent tool you can use to manage your property to help wildlife. You can learn to conduct a prescribed fire safely by taking a free certified burn manager workshop or course presented by the Alabama Forestry Commission.

Alabama Certified Prescribed Burn Manager Certification Course
Don't wait! The first 30 people to register will be given preference.

The free course is open to any forestland owner, forester, wildlife biologist, consultant, contractor or agency personnel who are interested in the use of prescribed fire as a land management tool.
