Learn to manage your land for wildlife
Learn how to improve wildlife habitat on your property by attending an NWTF landowner field day Thursday, March 1, at Dorchester Shooting Preserve in Midway, Ga.
The workshop is only $5 and includes lunch. The program runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Don't wait! Participation is limited to the first 75 people registered. Pre-registration by Feb. 24 is encouraged.
You do not have to be an NWTF member to attend.
During the workshop, you can spend time with wildlife biologists, foresters, habitat consultants and other habitat experts learning how to enhance your woodlands for wildlife and improve forest health.
Topics will include how to:
Manage quail
Conduct a prescribed fire
Manage invasive species
Utilize cost share programs
This event will take place rain or shine. Please dress for the outdoors.
