Celebrate NWTF Appreciation Day with L.L. Bean
You are invited to attend the NWTF Appreciation Day in celebration of L.L. Bean's 100th birthday on April 7 at the L.L. Bean Headquarters in Freeport, Maine.
Don't miss the opportunity to pattern your shotgun, shoot archery, have fun and learn turkey hunting basics at this exciting event.
There is no cost required to attend the event. However, participation in the 5-stand tournament is $25. There also is a fee to participate in the calling contest.
The fun starts at 8 a.m., beginning with registration for the calling contest, and will last until 6:30 p.m.
Activities will include:
Turkey Tactics 101 seminar presented by David Smith, Master Maine Guide from Knight and Hale Game Calls
Shotgun patterning at Fogg Farm
10-arrow archery tournament at Fogg Farm (prizes will be awarded)
Seminar on property management for wild turkeys presented by NWTF Regional Biologist Grant Mecozzi
NWTF sanctioned state turkey calling contest
Five-stand tournament at Fogg Farm
Refreshments will be provided and food can be purchased on site.
Transportation to Fogg Farm will not be provided. Fogg Farm is located 2 miles south of L.L. Bean headquarters on the Desert Road in Freeport.
The archery and 5-stand tournament will be first come, first served.
