NWTF Announces Chevy Truck, Kentucky Elk Tag Winners
Bill Newell of Springfield, Ohio, and Ron Peterson of High Ridge, Mo., were recently announced as grand-prize winners in two nationwide drawings held by the NWTF.
Newell won a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and Peterson won a rare tag for a trophy bull elk hunt in Kentucky. The elk hunt includes lodging and will be guided by Sam Mars III, NWTF National Board of Directors president.
"Thanks to our wonderful partners Chevrolet and Molpus Timberlands Management, we were able to give away these magnificent prizes," said Danny Young, NWTF vice president of marketing. "We expect to have these great prizes again next year, which will help us continue to raise money for our mission of wildlife conservation and preserving our hunting heritage."
The winners were announced Aug. 19 at the NWTF's 19th annual Turkey Shoot, a sporting clays tournament held at The Meadows National Gun Club in Forsyth, Ga.
