EDGEFIELD, S.C. — MidwayUSA , the catalog and Internet retailer, has once again shown its support for conservation by sponsoring the National Wild Turkey Federation's 35th annual National Convention and Sport Show, Feb. 17-20 at Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tenn.

Known for having "JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING for Shooting, Reloading, Gunsmithing and Hunting," MidwayUSA offers a broad inventory to customers worldwide.

"Tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts are expected to attend our annual convention at the Opryland Resort," said George Thornton, NWTF CEO. "MidwayUSA's renewed sponsorship of our convention proves that the folks at MidwayUSA are dedicated to conserving North America's wildlife populations and habitat just like the dedicated NWTF members who rally at our convention each year. We've had record-setting attendance each of the past two years, and we're expecting an equally outstanding turnout this year."

Each February, the NWTF's volunteers, members, staff and the general public gather to celebrate the NWTF's accomplishments and plan for the future at the NWTF convention. The 2011 convention will feature a record 650 booths in one of the nation's largest sport shows, plus performances from entertainers Trace Adkins and The Band Perry, the Grand National Turkey Calling Championships and more.

NWTF members and active military personnel will receive free admission to the expo floor with their membership card or ID.

Attendees interested in booking rooms at the reduced NWTF rate should book immediately. The reserved block of rooms at Opryland will be released to the general public on Jan. 26.

Founded in 1973, the NWTF is dedicated to the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage. Through dynamic partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and its members have helped restore wild turkey populations across the country, raised and spent more than $331 million, and conserved 15.9 million acres of habitat for all types of wildlife.
