Win Hunts, Gear and More Using Facebook and Twitter at NWTF Convention

EDGEFIELD, S.C. — Attendees at the National Wild Turkey Federation's 35th annual National Convention and Sport Show can use their smart phones and laptops to find out how to win awesome prizes during the NWTF's biggest weekend.

Throughout each day during the convention, which will take place Feb. 18 to Feb. 20 in Nashville, the NWTF will post instructions to win prizes on its official pages on Facebook and Twitter. The incredible prizes include:

  • An Osceola turkey hunt for two people with Tag It Worldwide in Florida

  • An Illinois white-tailed deer hunt for two people with Riverview Outfitters in Hamilton, Ill.

  • Lunch with NWTF National Spokesperson and outdoor TV star Michael Waddell

  • The Ultimate Turkey Hunting Prize Pack, which is valued at $1500 and includes an Escort semi-auto turkey shotgun, Ol' Tom Technical Turkey Gear, LaCrosse boots, Bushnell binoculars and HS Strut turkey calls.

Other prizes that will be given away include tickets to see The Band Perry in concert at the Saturday Night Awards banquet Feb. 19, coupons to the NWTF's Turkey Shoppe in the exhibit hall and NWTF merchandise.

The NWTF National Convention and Sport Show, officially sponsored by MidwayUSA, is the premier sport show for outdoor enthusiasts who love turkey and deer hunting. For the first time, NWTF members and active-duty military personnel get in free.

For non-members, just $30 buys an NWTF membership, a 3-day general admission pass to the convention and a subscription to Turkey Country magazine.

The general admission pass grants access to the giant sport show, which is loaded with the latest gear for turkeys and deer and is larger than four football fields. The pass is also good for admission to seminars that teach hunting and land management tactics, as well as the Grand National Turkey Calling Championships, where the world's best turkey callers compete. Attendees also can meet celebrities from sports, entertainment and outdoor television.
