Field & Stream Video Captures NWTF Volunteer Superstars in Action

In this Field & Stream video, Field & Stream Editor-At-Large Eddie Nickens shows how NWTF volunteers Ken and Marcia Polhamus have adopted the youth of Illinois as hunters and conservationists of the future.

The 5-minute video shows the Illinois couple at their busy best, assisting youth while running the NWTF Illinois State JAKES hunt for five consecutive weekends and conducting a popular Women in the Outdoors event at the same site.

You'll see why Field & Stream has chosen the Polhamuses as one of six finalists for its 2012 national Heroes of Conservation award to be announced Oct. 4 in Washington, D.C. The Polhamuses are featured in the October issue of Field & Stream magazine, which goes on sale Sept. 18.
