The National Wild Turkey Federation's 34th annual National Convention and Sport Show was a huge success! The NWTF will return to Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn., for 35th annual convention Feb. 17 to Feb. 20, 2011, and hope you will make plans to attend. Robert Linder, president of the Texas NWTF State Chapter said: "You should have been there! The NWTF's National Convention and Sport Show was just incredible. We enjoyed performances by great country music artists and the incredibly funny comedian Jeff Foxworthy, heard great reports and new ideas from the NWTF and attended informative seminars about everything having to do with wild turkeys and turkey hunting. We learned about land management, heard the best turkey callers in the world, honored our veterans and our Creator, recognized the top NWTF chapters nationwide and made new friends at the beautiful Opryland hotel. I hope you'll make plans to attend next year's convention. You will meet so many new NWTF friends from all over the USA. You'll want to stay at least three nights for sure. Attending the national convention is like going to a pep rally where everyone gets fired up about wild turkeys, turkey hunting, conservation, friends, family and the future of NWTF. This event puts into perspective everything that we are trying to accomplish here in Texas and at NWTF. If you go once, you will be hooked. See you in Nashville next year." Parking at the hotel is free for Opryland guests. SponsorsThe NWTF would like to thank the following companies for sponsoring the 2010 NWTF Convention and Sports Show.
