Beware of the Fair Guide

The NWTF Convention & Sport Show does NOT support the Fair Guide -- it is NOT affiliated with NWTF or The NWTF Convention & Sport Show. Please be aware that you may receive solicitations for the Fair Guide from Construct Data, its publisher, which use the name of The National Wild Turkey Federation. Construct Data currently operates out of Slovakia (it has previously operated out of Austria and Germany).

Beware of the Expo-Guide

The NWTF Convention & Sport Show also does NOT support the Expo-Guide -- it is NOT affiliated with NWTF or The NWTF Convention & Sport Show. Please be aware that you may receive solicitations for the Expo-Guide from Commercial Online Manuals, its publisher, which use the name of The National Wild Turkey Federation. The Expo-Guide currently operates out of Mexico.

For further warnings on the Fair Guide and the Expo-Guide, please check out www.stopecg.org (the website was set up originally to deal with the European City Guides, but it now addresses the Fair Guide and Expo-Guide as well as several other similar matters).

And please remember - the only directories and guides affiliated with NWTF are those published by NWTF, including the official show directories. If you have any doubts about a directory/guide solicitation using the The NWTF Convention & Sport Show name (for example, if the solicitation requires payment made to an address in a foreign country), please contact The NWTF Convention & Sport Show ASAP.

Exhibitor Booth Information

2013 exhibit hall layout

The layout is updated daily. Booths are color coded as to availability; the key is across the top left of the layout.

Booth size is 10' x 10'. Standard drapery backs eight feet high; side rail dividers three feet high, booth identification sign, one eight foot table, two chairs and one wastebasket are included in the booth fee.

Electricity, telephone, internet and carpet are not included in the booth fee. These services will be offered through the show service contractor in the exhibitor service kit.

2013 Booth prices:

Initial corner booth - $875
Additional corner booths - $840 each

Initial inline booth - $775
Additional inline booths - $745 each

Premium - Row 1 - $250; Row 2 - $175; Row 3 - $100

To purchase a booth:

  1. Download the exhibitor contract

  2. Select your first, second and third booth choices

  3. Complete the exhibitor contract and e-mail, fax or mail it along with deposit

  4. Once the contract and deposit are received, you will receive an email confirming your booth purchase

Booth balances must be paid in full by December 1, 2012.

Exhibitor Move-in

Exhibitor move-in and set up will be on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Exhibitors must pick up their exhibitor packets from exhibitor check-in by 10 p.m. on Thursday. Exhibitor check-in is located on aisle 1000.

Show Hours

The exhibit hall opens to the public as follows:

Friday, Feb. 15, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 16, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 17, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Exhibitors will be allowed entry to the exhibit hall one hour prior to the hall opening to the public.

Exhibitor Service Kit

George Fern Company will e-mail an Exhibitor Services Kit in January 2013. The kit will include information, ordering instructions, deadlines and rates on the following:

  • Utilities (Phone, Electricity, Internet) - provided through Gaylord
  • Inbound/Outbound Shipping
  • Marshalling Yard Instructions
  • Set-up/Take-down Instructions
  • Maps, Carpet and Furniture Rental

ATTENTION EXHIBITORS - The George Fern Company is the exclusive provider of exhibitor services for the NWTF. Additional expense may be incurred by using a tradeshow service company other than the George Fern Company.

Exhibitor Badges

You will receive five (5) complimentary exhibitor badges per 10' x 10' booth purchased.

Names for badges will be collected Jan. 18-31, 2013.

Exhibitor badges must be picked up at exhibitor check-in by 10 p.m. on Thursday, February 14th. Exhibitor check-in will be located on aisle 1000 in the exhibit hall.

Additional exhibitor badges can be purchased for $15 each at exhibitor check-in on Thursday only.

If you do not pick your exhibitor badges up by 10 p.m. on Tthursday, you will have to purchase a day pass on Friday to enter the exhibit hall in order to pick up your badges.

Exhibitor badges allow you admission into the exhibit hall only. Tickets and name badges for all other convention events and meals must be purchased separately. Visit the NWTF Convention and Sport Show website for more information.

Exhibitor Parking

Exhibitors may park for $5 a day in Lot E of the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel and Convention Center. Shuttles will run from Lot E to the Convention Center beginning at 7 a.m. Friday through Sunday.

New Products Display

Transient Vendor License

Exhibitors who receive payment for merchandise or services at their booth at the NWTF convention are required by the state of Tennessee to obtain a permit to conduct business. The permit fee is $112.00. You can download the application for Transient Vendor License here.

You may also purchase the license during exhibitor set up at booth 1027 on Thursday, Feb. 14.

Sales Tax

Exhibitors at the NWTF convention are required to report taxable sales to the Tennessee Department of Revenue.

Sales tax for items sold during the convention will be collected by the Tennessee Department of Revenue in booth 1027 on Sunday of the show. The tax rate is 9.25%.

NOTICE: ANYTHING WITH WHEELS AND A MOTOR

Anything with wheels and a motor in an exhibitor booth must be approved by the NWTF. Only Chevrolet vehicles are permitted in the exhibit hall. If you are planning to display a vehicle, ATV, motorcycle, etc. in your booth you must contact Danny Young, Vice President of Marketing, at (803) 637-7413 or dyoung@nwtf.net.

2014 Booth Selection - By Appointment Only

Only exhibitors at the 2013 show are eligible to register for a booth for the 2014 show.

Appointments for 2014 booth selection will be posted on this page the first week of February 2013. Appointment times will also be posted at exhibitor check-in.

A 2014 exhibitor contract will be included in the exhibitor packet to be picked up on Thursday. Please complete the exhibitor contract before your appointment.
