Venison Stew

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pounds venison cubed
  • 1 can beef broth (10 ounce)
  • tomato juice (about 12 ounce)
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds potatoes cubed
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 5 celery stalks chopped
  • 3 carrots chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste

Combine venison, beef broth, potatoes, onions celery and carrots in a large stew pot. Add enough tomato juice to cover ingredients. Bring everything to a slow boil, then reduce heat and simmer until tender.

Works great in a slow cooker. Just combine ingredients and cook on low all day to enjoy a ready meal.

Yield: 6 to 8 servings
