TurkeyCue

Ingredients:

  • Half breast of turkey
  • 2 Tbsp favorite dry rub
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 celery stalk
  • Barbecue sauce

Directions:

Quarter onion and celery and add dry rub to crockpot. Then add half a turkey breast and add water to cover mixture. Cook on low heat for eight hours or until done. Take out breast and completely shred with fork and knife. Pour water mixture out of crockpot and add shredded turkey. Add your favorite barbecue sauce. Let heat and put on bun for some of the most tender wild turkey you'll have ever tried

Additional Info:

We fix our turkeys this way a couple days after sitting in refrigerator and sometimes we'll freeze the wild turkey breasts so we can enjoy them throughout the year.
