Shredded Wild Turkey Sandwiches
• Approximately 12-pound turkey
• 1 box seasoned croutons
• 1 lb. Italian sausage, browned
• 1 cup chopped celery
• 1 cup chopped onion
• 2 cans chicken broth
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
Roast turkey and cool a bit. Remove skin and bones; shred or cut into pieces. Place the turkey and all remaining ingredients in a Nesco or oven roaster.
Cook for 2 hours at low heat (250 degrees). You may need to add some additional chicken broth or water to keep it moist.
Serve hot or cold, bread of choice
