Turkey Country

Turkey Country is dedicated to the education and entertainment of NWTF members who support the conservation of the wild turkey and the preservation of our hunting heritage through the NWTF's outreach programs. Click here for more information.

JAKES Country

JAKES Country features hunting adventures, tips and tactics as well as highlights shooting and shooting sports and how to get involved. Members contribute to the production of the magazine by submitting stories about their own hunting, shooting and other outdoor experiences, reviewing the latest outdoor gear and gadgets and sending in photos of their successful times afield. JAKES Country, the NWTF's official youth publication, is a full-color, 24-page quarterly magazine that mails to all JAKES (ages 12 and under) and Xtreme JAKES (ages 13-17) members across North America.

Television Programs

Turkey Call

Each week, host Brenda Valentine and "Turkey Call" take fans on an exciting ride following dedicated NWTF volunteers on heart-pounding hunts all over North America. With established turkey populations in 49 states, Canada and Mexico, viewers see a wide variety of hunting locations featuring the five subspecies of North American wild turkeys. Get in the Game

"Get in the Game" teaches land managers how to stretch their dollars using cost-effective, wildlife habitat management strategies from NWTF experts who also offer professional assistance to NWTF members. Viewers learn how to attract and sustain healthy wildlife populations, whether the goal is to improve a single acre or a large farm or hunting lease.
