About the NWTF
Since 1985, the NWTF and its cooperators have spent more than $230 million upholding hunting traditions and conserving more than 11.3 million acres of wildlife habitat. In 1973, there were an estimated 1.3 million wild turkeys and 1.5 million turkey hunters. Today, there are more than 7 million wild turkeys and nearly 3 million turkey hunters.
The NWTF has nearly a half million members in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico and 14 foreign countries. It supports scientific wildlife management on public, private and corporate lands as well as wild turkey hunting as a traditional American sport.

The award-winning Turkey Call magazine is the flagship publication of the NWTF. Women In The Outdoors Magazine
Women In The Outdoors magazine is the official publication of the NWTF's female membership. This one-of-a kind magazine is dedicated to informing and entertaining women about the outdoors. The 80-page magazine is filled with articles on a variety of activities including camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hunting, shooting, bird watching, gardening and much more.

Wheelin' Sportsmen Magazine
Wheelin' Sportsmen magazine is dedicated to bringing the outdoors to disabled outdoors enthusiasts who enjoy all kinds of hunting, fishing and recreational shooting, as well as a variety of other outdoor activities. The publication is also a tool for able-bodied sportsmen and women to learn more about sharing the outdoors with their disabled peers and relays information about the Wheelin' Sportsmen NWTF program and the NWTF.

Get in the Game Magazine
Get in the Game magazine, the NWTF's newest magazine, is for people interested in hunting and managing their acres for wildlife, and who are members of the Hunting Heritage Program.
The magazine shows readers how to improve habitat for deer, quail, ducks, wild turkeys, small game, and other wildlife. Readers will also learn about strategies that work for hunting deer, turkey and more. This magazine also shows how proper forest management is good for wildlife and timber production. Articles range from tips on locating your treestand or setting up on a gobbler to ways to improve your soil, suggested plantings for your food plot and more.
