Episode Lineup
Week of November 23:
This week on "Turkey Call," we travel Wyoming where NWTF board members Vince Rosdahl, Jere Peak, Bill Marvin, Louis Yount and attorney Rick Morgan all go after Merriam's gobblers. Watch as Rick experiences turkey hunting for the first time and even gets to enjoy some snow. Tune in to see what the turkeys think of the snow.
Week of November 16:
This episode of "Turkey Call" is a throwback to the roots of turkey hunting as brothers Thad and Brian Beckum hunt wary swamp gobblers in Georgia's Ogeechee River bottom. The brothers use primitive weapons and wear buckskin and colonial clothing which adds to the difficulty of the hunt. When is the last time you saw a turkey hunt with no camouflage? You don't want to miss the heart-pounding action in this week's "Turkey Call."
Week of November 9:
This week on "Turkey Call," we'll be joining champion caller, Steve Cobb from Hunter's Specialties. Steve knows how to talk turkey when it comes to calling South Carolina longbeards. He'll start off hunting in the Low Country with NWTF member, Allen Goettee, from Summerville, S.C.; then, do a little hunting himself. Next, Steve will be hunting with Cyndi Flannigan from Leupold, who proves she is a pretty good shot. Finally, Steve joins Heather Stier, from Blythewood, S.C., as she goes after her first turkey. We've got a show packed full of swamp gobbler action this week on "Turkey Call."
Week of November 2:
This week on "Turkey Call", we start off in the "Show-Me State" of Missouri, where P.J. Perea joins Carl and Adam Doerhoff for some fall turkey hunting. Then, we travel to New York with several of our NWTF board members and CEO, George Thornton. Our hosts are the good people at Turkey Trot Acres who are famous for fall turkey hunting with dogs. It's quite different from spring hunting, but just as fun.
