Russell Outdoors has donated a Dixon Limited Edition Turkey Vest in Mossy Oak camouflage to the NWTF's Winchester Museum.

Distributed as a cancer research fundraiser, vest No. 0006 will be displayed on the electronic hunter storyteller in the Wild Turkey Center's museum in honor of Bob Dixon, who died of cancer in 2003, and his commitment to hunting and conservation. Each vest is individually numbered between 0001 and 1,986, symbolizing the year Mossy Oak was founded, and comes with several limited edition turkey calls.

Dixon, who died of cancer in 2003, is remembered as a devoted husband, father and friend, who loved the outdoors and helped develop the Mossy Oak brand to what it is today.

The Dixon Limited Edition Turkey Vest raised $60,000 for the Arnold S. Leonard Cancer Fund in Minneapolis, Minn.

Wheelin’ Sportsmen magazine is filled with tips, secrets and information pertaining to the disabled members of the Wheelin’ Sportsmen program. With everything from hunting and fishing tactics to camping and recreational shooting, Wheelin’ Sportsmen is delivering, and in some cases reintroducing, the beauty and excitement of the outdoors to thousands of people with disabilities.

Wheelin’ Sportsmen is the magazine of the NWTF’s Wheelin’ Sportsmen program. The mission of the program is to provide outdoor opportunities for people with disabilities, whether for the first time or as a reintroduction into the outdoors.
