Creative Call Making and Coloring for Kids at NWTF Convention
The National Wild Turkey Federation hosted its first series of Kids’ Workshops at the 50th annual Convention and Sport Show, sponsored by Mossy Oak.

These workshops were for kids to learn how to build turkey calls from renowned callmakers like Clay Townsend, Mike Lapp, Joe Slaton and Val Espinoza. Young attendees also had the opportunity to build a miniature wooden rubber-band rifle and participate in the first annual Coloring Championship. These types of creative spaces for young hunters foster their love for the outdoors through art.
