“We’ve had a very long and successful partnership with NWTF, and we’re very proud to continue this partnership in 2023 as a Longbeard Sponsor,” said John MacLellan, Mossberg’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We look forward to visiting with our NWTF friends and family later this month in Nashville!”

Mossberg, a leading innovator in the firearm industry and sponsor of the convention since 2008, will sponsor the convention’s Waterin’ Hole, the Virtual Continuous Silent Auction and also occupy booth 1231 in the exhibit hall.

“We are so happy to have Mossberg sponsor our convention again and help us kick off NWTF’s 50th anniversary,” said Natalia Daniels, NWTF national director of corporate relations and licensing. “They have been such a strong supporter over the years. We are grateful for their part in making our Convention and Sport Show so much fun for our attendees.”

The first event of the NWTF Convention and Sport Show, officially sponsored by Mossy Oak, is the Pub Crawl set for the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 15. Convention festivities officially open on Thursday, Feb. 16 with the rendezvous sessions, the evening’s Kickoff Party and the opening of the Sport Show floor, which features more than 450 of the best exhibitors in the outdoor industry. The NWTF Sport Show runs from Thursday to Saturday in the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Convention festivities conclude with a worship service on Sunday, Feb. 19.

About the National Wild Turkey Federation

Since 1973, the National Wild Turkey Federation has invested over half a billion dollars into wildlife conservation and has conserved or enhanced over 22 million acres of critical wildlife habitat. The organization continues to drive wildlife conservation, forest resiliency and robust recreational opportunities throughout the U.S. by working across boundaries on a landscape scale.

2023 is the NWTF's 50th anniversary and an opportunity to propel the organization's mission into the future while honoring its rich history. For its 50th anniversary, the NWTF has set six ambitious goals: positively impact 1 million acres of wildlife habitat; raise $500,000 for wild turkey research; increase membership to 250,000 members; dedicate $1 million to education and outreach programs; raise $5 million to invest in technology and NWTF's people; and raise $5 million to build toward a $50 million endowment for the future. Learn how you can help us reach these lofty goals.
