Waddy’s Campfire Brings Stories, Laughter and Turkey Hunting Heart to Saturday Morning 

Led by legendary outdoorsman and television personality Michael Waddell, the seminar felt less like a formal presentation and more like friends swapping stories around a fire. With humor, humility and unmistakable passion, Waddell shared lessons learned from decades spent chasing turkeys, deer and memories across the country. 

Rather than focusing on inches, beards or spurs, Waddell emphasized the moments that linger long after the hunt ends. The laughs, the missteps and the people beside you when it all happens is what matters most. 

“The memories are what last,” Waddell said. “If you’re not having fun, you’re missing the point.” 

The conversation flowed easily as Waddell opened the floor to questions, giving NWTF members the chance to share their own experiences and connect over a mutual love for the outdoors.
