Ingredients
Wild turkey Strips:
1 turkey breast
Buttermilk
3 cups flour
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/2 tbsp salt
canola or peanut oil
Nashville Hot Sauce:
2 tsp cayenne (Add 2-4 tsp cayenne to increase heat)
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp paprika
2 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1 cup fryer oil
Additional Ingredients:
slices of bread
pickle spears
Preparation:
Cut Turkey breast into 1 inch strips and soak in buttermilk for 24 hours.
Combine flour, salt and pepper and coat turkey strips with breading mixture.
Heat oil to 350 degrees and fry strips until golden brown.
Add 1 cup of hot fryer oil to separate bowl and combine with spices.
Coat fried turkey with hot sauce and place on top of slice of bread
Add a pickle spear to the mix, and enjoy!
