Incoming: NWTF’s Convention and Sport Show is Back!

We only missed a year of NWTF’s Convention and Sport Show live and in person, but it feels forever. There’s no other place in the world that brings together so many passionate conservationists, talented hunters, callers, call makers, taxidermists, live music, good food and beverages and exhibitors, all under one roof in Nashville.

When you miss even just one year of this, no wonder it feels like ages. Fear not, though; the NWTF’s 46th annual Convention and Sport Show is jammed packed with good times that any outdoor enthusiast is sure to love. 2022 is going be one for the books. Here are some highlights to look out for:

Kickoff Party, Awards
If you know anything about the NWTF, you that that the nonprofit is a volunteer-based conservation organization, with volunteers in every state in the country working for the mission. NWTF’s partners, too, play a huge role in facilitating the mission.

There will be many entertainment-packed events where our volunteers and partners will be awarded and recognized for their efforts, including the Kickoff Party, the Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. Breakfast, Conservation Awards Luncheon and the Awards Dinner and Ceremony. Be sure to join these events to surround yourself with some of the most dedicated conservationists in the country.

Tickets for dinners are general admission. Be sure to get there early to get the best seat. Our attendees have been known to wear cowboy hats, so you’ll want to be in front of them!

Show Floor
One of everyone’s favorite parts of NWTF’s Convention and Sport Show is the amount of awesome outdoor companies that set up as exhibitors. It’s like going to a giant mall, but instead of gimmicky stores and 20 different sneaker shops, it’s all gear and products that outdoor enthusiasts really want to see. Not to mention, the show floor is often the first place you will see new and innovative products before they are sold anywhere else. Top that off with giveaways, product testing and just talking with passionate folks. With over 400 exhibitors, you’ll surely find what you’re looking for.

NWTF Foundation’s Conservation Aid Concert
Two things that are great: conservation and live music. Combine the two, and you get NWTF Foundation’s Conservation Aid Concert. The lineup of country music superstars is one you will not want to miss, and, what’s more, the proceeds from the concert go back to conserving natural resources. Buy your tickets here.

Competitions
Wild turkey and white-tailed deer taxidermy, the best competitive turkey callers in the world, unique game calls made from some of the most skilled call makers crafting today — the amount of talent and passion found at various NWTF Convention and Sport Show contests is second to none. If you are a turkey hunter, you will be in awe. Learn more about 2022 NWTF Convention and Sport Show competitions here.

Auctions and Raffles
From that new shotgun you’ve been wanting to a world-class hunt of a lifetime, NWTF’s auctions and raffles are not only a fun experience, but it’s a great opportunity to purchase some of the industry’s leading products and/or unforgettable outdoor experiences. Waterin’ Hole
Feet getting tired yet? Grab a beverage at the Waterin’ Hole, find a comfy seat and soak in the good vibes. Over the years, the Waterin’ Hole has become an iconic lounge spot at NWTF’s Convention and Sport Show. Back to back, an array of talented musicians play their sets for NWTF’s guests, all from a convenient and comfortable location. It’s a great spot to take a break as you bounce around the Gaylord Opryland Resort.

Surely this is not an exhaustive list, and to be honest, no matter how much detail you read (find it all here: www.nwtf.org/convention), there’s no real way to express the energy at NWTF’s Convention and Sport Show. You’ve just gotta be there. As we march toward NWTF’s 50-year anniversary in 2023, let’s make the organization’s 46th Convention and Sport Show one for the books. Good times await; will you be there?
