  • 1 pound wild turkey, ground
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/2 white onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • 10 lettuce leaves
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 jalapeño, chopped
  • 2 roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced

In a skillet, sauté your onions with a splash of olive oil, add garlic and cook an additional 45 seconds. Add your ground turkey and brown. While turkey is browning, season with salt and pepper. Add your taco seasoning and water, mix and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. While taco meat is cooking, work on your pico, simply mix all ingredients and season with salt and pepper to liking. To plate, take one lettuce cup, half cup of taco meat and top with cheese, pico and any of your favorite toppings.
