Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast
  • 12-20 skewers
  • ½ cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cracked pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

For Alabama White “BBQ” Sauce

  • 2 cups mayo
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/5 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 2 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

For Alabama White “BBQ” Sauce

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, whisk until smooth, cover and refrigerate 1-2 hours before use.

For Skewers

In a Ziploc bag, add all ingredients minus your turkey breast and skewers. Slice your turkey breast lengthwise into thin strips. Add turkey to bag of marinade and let it soak for 1-2 hours (while turkey is marinating, make the BBQ sauce below). While turkey is marinating place skewers in water (this will help them from burning as you cook). Heat grill to medium-high heat. Remove turkey from bag and zigzag pieces onto skewers. You are not chunking meat, keep meat thin and long. Grill 5 minutes each side or until turkey meat reaches 160 degrees.
