NWTF chapters host mentored hunts and learn to hunt clinics geared toward new or novice hunters.
Through Mentored Hunts and Learn to Hunt Clinics, NWTF chapters help connect new or novice hunters with a support group or social network to help further all parties’ interests in the outdoor pursuits.
Typically, NWTF mentored hunts allow each hunter to be paired with an experience mentor to ensure a safe, educational and enjoyable experience in the woods. Many hunts also are followed by instructions on how to clean and prepare wild game.
This presentation is to ensure NWTF mentors are prepared for their responsibilities.
