NWTF Major Donor Program

Our major donors are staunch supporters of the NWTF mission. They have taken their commitment far beyond the ordinary to ensure our nation’s natural resources and hunting heritage are passed down to future generations.

Simply put, our major donors are conservation leaders.

The NWTF recognizes commitments of $5,000 and above as a major donation. We gladly accept types of gifts, including cash, securities, stock and planned gifts. Commitments are payable over four years, or can be customized to satisfy our donor’s needs.

Ways to Give

The National Wild Turkey Federation welcomes the following types of gifts for credit towards your pledge

Gifts of Cash

Maximize your charitable deduction and provide funds for conservation immediately. Personal checks and all credit cards accepted. A variety of payment plans are also available.

Give Monthly

You choose the amount that fits your budget, sign up online, and we do the rest. Monthly giving eliminates many overhead costs and allows us to direct more to habitat initiatives.

Attend a Local NWTF Event

Attend a local event and have a terrific time with friends and fellow NWTF members in your community. Find an event near you!

Matching Gift

If your workplace participates in a matching gifts program, you may be able to double or triple your donation to the NWTF with your company’s matching gifts program. Contact your human resources department to determine your company policy and let our development team know your intentions so that we can recognize your contributions.

Legacy Memorial Giving

The Legacy Program is designed to help ensure generations to come can experience the thrill of the wild turkey’s gobble, making it the perfect salute to a wild turkey enthusiast’s noteworthy accomplishments, while honoring and remembering a friend or loved one. Start your donation.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

If your workplace participates in the Combined Federal Campaign, you can make payroll deductions to the NWTF by checking number 10240 on your CFC application this year. Please make sure to check the box at the end of the form to allow the CFC to give the NWTF your name and address so that we can recognize your contributions.

IRA Charitable Rollover

If you are 70 and a half years of age or older, you can make a charitable gift to the NWTF through your annual required minimum distribution.

Gifts of Stocks or Securities

Gifts of marketable securities can be an advantageous way to make a substantial gift to support the conservation of the mission of the NWTF.

In most cases the gifts avoid capital gains taxes and are deductible for income tax purposes based on the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift.

Gifts of closely held stock may also be accepted. Such gifts should be discussed with a member of the development team prior to making the gift.
